CANADA DAY

CAMP WEEKEND

 July 1st, 2014

We spent the the July 1st weekend at the Camp with Stephen, Jon, Carlye and her family. The weather was great and the time filled with lots of activities including swimming, kayaking, fishing, ring toss, photography, paddle boarding, launching a float, water golfing, music, socializing and gourmet dining. Niko and Zack really enjoyed the company and all of the attention.

Numerous fish were landed. Bob and Jon tried their hand at photographing hummingbirds for the first time. They present a real photographic challenge to capture because of their high speed and small size. Jon, with his new D610 and 300 MM Nikon Lense, got the best shot.

We were able to get the float in this year. Dennis, Carlye's brother, is a commercial diver and he was able to recover the mooring so a new chain could be installed. Everyone pitched in to help and thoroughly enjoyed the voyage from the launching to the mooring.
