CHRISTMAS 2017
Another great Christmas. We had Stephen, Bobby, Nancy, Jon, Carly and Lennon in for the traditional turkey dinner. Both Jon and Carly took turns at the IWK with Jane and Poppy. Lennon really enjoyed the Dune Buggy from Uncle Andrew and Aunt Kristie. The highlight of the season for the dogs, Daffy, Niko and Zack, was the 'real people' Turkey Dinner. This always turns into a knock me down drag me out were all manners and etiquette fall by the wayside.
The next day we participated in the second annual Ginger Bread House build. It was a lot of fun for everyone. Strong winds on Christmas Day brought a lot of damage to the area, including power outages, downed power poles, broken branches, downed trees, roof and siding damage. A lot of turkeys didn't get cooked on time, leaving many in the dark without a hot meal. We were very fortunate with only a bit soffit damage. Repairs will have to wait until spring. All in all, it was a very festive holiday.
