Operation Gingerbread House

Carried out operation Gingerbread House today. Andrew and Kristie sent a Gingerbread Kit and Lennon used it in a school project. All attempts to purchase a replacement culminated with the sad reality that there is not one to be found in all of the metro area. Fortunately, with little help from the Bulk Barn and ice cream cones, a major disaster was adverted. Christmas trees are a great substitute for the tradition Gingerbread House.

A fun time was had by all. Jane, Poppy and Lennon enjoyed the crafting activities, cookies and Christmas movies. The decorating formula called for equal parts, one part for the tree and the other for personnel consumption. Some of our friends also dropped by to wish us a Merry Christmas via the front yard and leaves gifts of cookies and tree ornaments . It was a fun filled day and I am very confident that all will sleep well tonight, including the grandparents.
